Resolution #18-33: Resolution for the Release of Escrow Account Balances
Date of Adoption: April 19, 2018
WHEREAS, the Vernon Township Municipal Utilities Authority required certain business entities to post funds in escrow to cover both engineering review of their sewer connection plan and the inspection of the construction work associated with the actual sewer connection.
WHEREAS, the businesses listed below did post escrow funds to cover the cost stated above, and
WHEREAS, the escrow accounts for these applicants have left over funds after all the required work was said and done, and
WHEREAS, the VTMUA is in receipt of a letter from Mott MacDonald its consulting engineer indicating that the remaining fund for each of these business entities can now be released back to each of the entities that posted them.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Vernon Township Municipal Utilities Authority approves of the returning of these excess escrow funds as shown below back to the business entity that originally posted them.
