Resolution #20-43: Review of EDU Allocation for Property Located at 515 Route 515

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Vernon Township Municipal Utilities Authority is to be made aware of alterations to existing properties to properly evaluate EDU calculations in real time; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the property located at 515 Route 515 applied for and received a demolition permit for the improvements on the lot; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Board of Commissioners of the Vernon Township Municipal Utilities Authority have received confirmation that the property has been inspected and the demolition permit was closed in November 2019; and
WHEREAS, the property owner has requested a reduction of EDUs, as the lot is considered without adequate land improvements warranting sewer connection, which has been confirmed by the Tax Assessor of the Township of Vernon;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of the Vernon Township Municipal Utilities Authority hereby determines that a reduction of EDUs is warranted for the property located at 515 Route 515 and instructs the Chief Financial Officer to have all EDUs removed from billing for said property effective January 1, 2020.
