Resolution #20-56: Authorizing Work Order for Pump Station #2 Replacement

Date of Adoption: December 3, 2020

WHEREAS, the Vernon Township Municipal Utilities Authority appointed Dewberry (Dewberry Engineers Inc.) as a Special Projects Engineer; and

WHEREAS, there is a need for replacement of Pump Station #2, which involves preliminary engineering, design, permitting, surveying, bid specifications and processing, and oversight of the construction phase; and

WHEREAS, Dewberry has submitted a work order as per contractual obligations for the engineering services involved in Pump Station #2 replacement which includes preliminary/final design, geotechnical/survey services, permitting, bid and award phase processing, and construction oversight; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Vernon Township Municipal Utilities Authority hereby approves the work order and scope of the project with Dewberry;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the award of contract shall be in an amount not to exceed $200,000.00
